FLASH MOB ITINERARY
4:45-5pm, Meeting Point: Powell Bart Station, San Francisco  Look for lively people wearing One Billion Rising T-Shirts. Wear your own if you have one.
5:10pm, Powell & Market: Men will perform the flash mob on their own, in honor of the women they love. Men will perform first, followed by a women's performance, held by men.
5:25pm: Head to the Federal Building at 7th and Mission. We'll be joining another action led by a coalition focused on social justice and women's rights.
5:50pm, Federal Building: Women and Men will be dancing together at 7th St. and Mission, performing Break the Chain as part an International Women's Day action celebrating women's freedom and strength.
7pm, Fort Mason: Women and Men will be joining our final Flash Mob performance at SF Chapter United Nations gathering. There will be refreshments, light food, music and speakers.
Why an All-Male Break the Chain Flash Mob?  We've decided to create a special space for men to perform Break the Chain in honor of women. By stepping up, the men are showing their support for women and their commitment for ending violence that ultimately harms women and men. We're taking a stand here to honor our interconnectedness and the value in learning ways for all genders to thrive together towards peace. Why men first? Simple. It would not be as strong if men did their own thing after the women since the women's group will be much larger.
